Sanjeev (New Delhi 1957, First-Class Honors degree in Commerce and Chartered Accountant) has over 35 years' experience as Executive banker, of which 25 years with Citibank (since 1982) where he held a number of senior positions across Asia, Europe, America and Africa like CEO of Zambia and Uganda and Executive Director of Citibank Nigeria besides being an industry specialist in airlines and aerospace,


Sanjeev Anand was Managing Director of I&M Bank Rwanda Limited (previously Banque Commerciale du Rwanda - BCR) and. managed the transition of ownership of the bank from Actis to the I&M consortium, comprising I&M Bank, DEG and PROPARCO with many awards like 'Best Bank in Rwanda' for four years 'Most Technology Innovative Company', etc. Early 2016 he became Managing Director BPR Rwanda followed by his current position since mid-2017 of Group Managing Director for Banking Operations Atlas Mara.


Sanjeev is also deputy Chairman of Rwanda Sovereign Fund and has been Chairman of Rwanda Bankers Association, President of the Rwanda Leasing Association, deputy President of Uganda Institute of Bankers, a member of the Steering Committee of East African Community and membership of the BASEL task force to set up stock exchanges in Zambia and Uganda.


Tinotenda Gwen Muteiwa

Executive Director, Group CFO

Gwen (Zimbabwe 1975, MBA, Honors degree in Accounting Science, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting degree) has over 20 years' experience in financial, corporate and advisory services. With a focus on strategy and its translation into financial performance.


Gwen's career encompassed various roles in Finance, Administration, Advisory Services and Operations, mainly in the banking sector. She was previously the Head of Finance Transformation for the ABCH Group, and was instrumental in the implementation of a financial controls framework, standardization of financial controls systems and processes across the Group, during the period April 2016 to May 2017. Gwen has worked mainly in other local Zimbabwean banks, including ReNaissance Merchant Bank, where she was the Managing Director and Finance Director prior to that. Gwen is the Group Chief Finance Officer for ABC and was appointed to the Board of ABCH in 2018.


Gwen is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). She has completed an Executive Leadership Program with Stellenbosch University and is a Committee member of the Women Chartered Accountants Network under the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe.
